University of Ibadan (UI) announces resumption date, 2019/2020 session canceled

This is to inform all students of the University of Ibadan (UI) that the school management has fixed Monday, January 18th, 2021 as the new resumption date for the continuation of academic activities. This was revealed in a tweet from the University’s official Twitter handle. The tweet reads:

The management of the University of Ibadan has announced January 18 as its resumption date. The Senate cancelled the 2019/20 academic session, the 2020/21 session will commence on February 20 and end on December 22nd.

Our source in the source also told us that the school has proposed a virtual classes for all students except new intakes and final year students.
