Netizens have dug up an old tweet about Big Brother Naija star, Leo DaSilva’s first meeting with his now-wife, Maryam Laushi.
Apparently, back in 2018, Maryam took to Twitter to recount her first-ever meeting with the reality TV star at a corporate event.

She shared photos of herself and Leo engaged in a conversation at the event. She also highlighted some of the humanitarian work he was involved in, in addition to being a BBNaija alumnus.
This happened shortly after Leo left the Big Brother Naija house.
Maryam wrote,“I met Leo Dasilva yesterday and had a good conversation with him. #didyouknow he’s a @connected_dev partner? He works with grassroots and does community engagement. He’s currently advocating for the extension of free Universal Basic Education with the awesome @HamzyCODE love it”.

Interestingly, the couple tied the knot in Kaduna on Saturday, November 11. This came as a surprise to many, as Leo had earlier mentioned on Twitter that he was attending a wedding in Kaduna but didn’t disclose that it was his own wedding.

Following their wedding, her old tweet resurfaced online, sparking massive reactions from social media users.
