  1. Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
  2. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
  3. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.
  4. It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Acts 10:24-48, Job 23-25

It is important to know that God has a plan for your life. He said in Jeremiah 1:5:

“Before I formed thee in the belly, I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee…”

This shows that God’s plan for you is very personal. It may not be revealed to you at once but its very detailed with everything worked out step by step. For His plans to become actualized in you, it is vital that you trust in Him. When people plan their life, they calculate based on resources available to them but when things don’t go as planned, they go into depression. Someone once said that growing into God’s perfect plan without necessarily understanding the process is great faith. This is why your absolute dependence must be on God because life is not a bed of roses, it is an uncertain place that requires the wisdom of God.

God’s will for you is always good and perfect and because He alone knows the future, He will guide you into the best career, spiritual, academic and marital path, in Jesus name.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart.

  1. ‘Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus,
    Just to take him at his word;
    Just to rest upon His promise,
    Just to know, “Thus saith the Lord.

Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him!
How I’ve proved him o’er and o’er!
Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus!
O for grace to trust him more!

  1. O how sweet to trust in Jesus,
    Just to trust His cleansing blood;
    Just in simple faith to plunge me
    ’Neath the healing, cleansing flood!
  2. Yes, ’tis sweet to trust in Jesus,
    just from sin and self to cease;
    just from Jesus simply taking
    life and rest, and joy and peace.
  3. I’m so glad I learn’d to trust Thee,
    Precious Jesus, Saviour, Friend,
    And I know that Thou art with me,
    Wilt be with me to the end.
