Admission process for 2020 will not be affected by ASUU strike – JAMB

The Joint s and Matriculation Board () has assured that the ongoing strike action by the Academic Staff Union of () would not affect the 2020/2021 process. This was disclosed by a senior official of while speaking with newsmen under the condition of anonymity.

The official also revealed that efforts are on by the board in partnership with other stakeholders, to come up with all necessary information that will guide prospective candidates on how to complete processes into institutions of their choice. He said: “We have conducted the examinations and by the end of this month, we will be starting our process’’

He noted that Nigerian ’ calendar has never been the same. According to him, while some institutions have finished the last session and are waiting for to give them the go-ahead to start s; some government institutions are in the first semester.
