WWE reportedly planning to hold a draft for RAW and SmackDown this coming October

According to multiple sources, WWE reportedly will be holding a draft in October on both RAW and Smackdown.

It should be noted that these are tentative dates, but the WWE Draft is scheduled to be held on Friday Night SmackDown on October 11 from Las Vegas and conclude on Monday Night RAW from Denver on October 14.

This would put the WWE Draft starting on the second episode of SmackDown on FOX, which debuts on October 4. WWE will be celebrating 20 years of SmackDown on that episode with a number of legends coming in for the show.

The Wild Card Rule also looks to be finished up following the draft as WWE has told talent that boundaries between the brands will be stronger in the fall.

WWE last held the Superstar Shake-Up in mid-April, but the results were quickly undone after second guessing in WWE creative. The Wild Card Rule was soon created, which allowed talents from both brands to go to the different brands.
