It was a bad day at the office for Arsenal as they were beaten 3-1 by Liverpool at Anfield, although I’m sure Jurgen Klopp won’t mind.
The Gunners made life easy for the title contenders who were able to play their free-flowing natural game and see off the north London side.
One man who will be glad to see the back of the Reds is David Luiz.
The Brazilian endured a torrid afternoon with Liverpool’s rampant attack giving him nightmares – not to mention forcing him into an error that led to a penalty.
Luiz spoke after the game and was full of praise for Klopp’s side.
He said: “I think we had opportunities in the beginning of the first half to score one or two goals and [it] could be a different match.

“Then after that we are playing against a fantastic team where they have rhythm, they play with intensity, they never stop.
“I think the penalty killed the game and after that it was a concern a bit for my game that I could not make the foul because they gave the yellow for me for the penalty.”
Speaking of his error that led to Mo Salah’s penalty, Luiz said: “It is reflex, when I turn myself, I already saw the pass and it was just instinct.
“It is why I take out the power and even Momo is my friend, Salah, I spoke with him and he say ‘I didn’t feel your power, that is why I continue to go to the ball’ but now with the VAR, they cannot know the power.
“Maybe if I pull him just in his shoulder with my arms, maybe it is going to use more power and make him turn and not go to the ball and maybe it is not a penalty, but with the shirt now, they always give the penalty.
“It is difficult, I don’t want to judge them because it is difficult also for the referees and the people who look at the videos and see the shirt.
“I think the yellow after that was a bit difficult because you are playing against a striker who is fast and you cannot make a foul.”
