Nasarawa police seek family of 13-year-old girl found wandering around and asking for her sister

The Nasarawa State Police Command is asking for the public’s help in locating the family of a 13-year-old girl who was found wandering around Ungwan Kuba area of the state.  

Spokesperson of the command, DSP Ramhan Nansel, in a statement on Thursday, September 29, said the girl who identified herself as Aisha Hassan, from Borno state, was found wandering around and asking for her sister named, Hauwa. 

 

“On September 27, 2022, at about 1000hrs, one Aisha Hassan 13yrs, dark in complexion, 5ft tall and Bura by tribe was found wandering around and asking for her sister named Hauwa surname unknown at Ungwan Kuba, Nasarawa Eggon LGA, Nasarawa State,” the PPRO stated.

 

“The teenager said she hails from Borno State, Giwa Barracks precisely and efforts to get across to the family all prove abortive.

 

“The Police Command hereby call on anyone with useful information that will lead to the family of Hauwa Hassan to please visit Nasarawa Eggon Division/any nearest Police Station or call the following numbers: 08037461715, 08035951018 and 08112692680. It will be appreciated if this message is given the widest publicity, please.
