Nollywood actress, Monalisa Stephen, has tackled her colleagues in the entertainment industry over their lack of support for Funke Akindele in the governorship race.
Funke Akindele, the deputy governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has received little to no support from her colleagues since she was declared the running mate of PDP gi Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran, better known as Jandor.
Bemused by their apathy, Monalisa took to her Instagram page to query them for not throwing their weight behind the legendary actress. She also wondered if Funke Akindele has not displayed a high level of integrity in the industry.
Monalisa, however, declared support for Funke Akindele ahead of the governorship election on Saturday, March 11, stating that she has a good track record.
Sharing a photo of Funke Akindele, she wrote,
