Ogume Grammar School old students move to save alma mater

Worried by the negative reports and temporary closure of Ogume Grammar School by Delta State government, pioneer students of the school known as ‘Class 80’ met recently to review the situation and chart a way forward.

The meeting, chaired by Dr Friday Otutu, held at Sweet Spirit Hotel, Asaba. The old students expressed concern over continued closure of the school appealing to members to use their contacts and reach out to the state government.

At the meeting were Otutu, Steve Omanufeme, Dele Adibeli, Duke Anowa, Paul Uzor, Sylvester Ogwu, Sunday Osogbue and Chukwuka Odigwe. Others were Benjamin Okinedo, Bernard Obadoni, Emmanuel Achuenu, Anthony Obodo, Basil Ogbeivor and Johnson Osauzor.
