According to Muthurin’s wife, Marie Luc Delille, she was in the kitchen, doing dishes in the sink, and heard banging on their door.
Initially, Muthurin, a body builder, approached Jason Pass on without clothes but returned to his apartment while Pass stood on the stairways waiting.
A few moments later, Muthurin’s wife came out of the apartment and engaged in an inaudible conversation with Pass. Her stepson, Mode, came out, too, standing behind her. Muthurin came out of the apartment, putting on a white T-shirt, and charged toward Pass, threatening him with a pair of scissors.

Muthurin’s wife pulled him back, and as Muthurin faced his wife, Pass pulled out a loaded gun with a green laser and aimed at Jason, who was trying to get his wife back into the apartment. While Muthurin was on the ground, Jason aimed at Mode, who tried to run for his safety and gunned him down.
Pass came back to Muthurin, who was still alive, and shot him again.
Jason Pass left the building through an elevator right after the shooting, police said. Police said the gun that Pass used in the shooting was not registered to him.

Jason Pass, who is 47, killed his neighbors living just above him in the apartment, claiming they were being noisy.
According to the family of the deceased, Pass has been picking on the family about noise since they packed onto the fourth floor of the Flatbush Gardens apartment building in 2019.
Grieving Bladimy Muthurin’s wife, Marie Delille, said Pass hates the family with “passion.”

Jason Pass was shot three times by the police after a three-day manhunt in Brooklyn ended on the morning of Wednesday, November 1, 2023.
Authorities have reported that the suspect, identified as Jason Pass, was discovered concealed within a vehicle in Bath Beach.

In the early hours of Wednesday, law enforcement initiated a traffic stop on a car being driven by Pass on Bay 44th Street. Upon exiting the vehicle brandishing a knife, Pass attempted to flee, according to police accounts. Following a pursuit and a confrontation with Pass, it was reported that he advanced toward officers with the knife, prompting them to open fire.
Pass sustained four gunshot wounds, with three on his chest and one in his right leg, as stated by the police. Following the incident, Pass was still alive and swiftly transported to NYU Langone Hospital in Brooklyn, where he died at age 47.
Jason Pass Was A Corrections Officer
The New York Department of Corrections and Community Supervision confirmed Jason Pass was a correction officer.
Thomas Mailey, a spokesman for the State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision, said Pass worked at the Sing Sing Correctional Facility in Ossining from September 2004 to June 2005 until he was terminated.
He withheld reasons why Jason Pass was terminated because of the ongoing investigation. Also, he could not confirm a reason for Pass’ firing because the relevant employee records were obliterated after a 7-year retention period.
Jason Pass Arrested for “Menacing and Reckless Endangerment”
It turns out this is not the first time Pass is on the wrong side of the law. According to a report in Daily News story, he was arrested in 2005 for “Menacing and Reckless Endangerment; at the time, he was still working at Sing Sing Correctional Facility.
According to the report, Jason Pass, who was off-duty at the time, allegedly brandished a firearm and verbally confronted two plainclothes police officers in what appeared to be a road rage incident. This unsettling encounter occurred after he had honked and tailgated their unmarked vehicle along Ralph Ave. in Flatlands, Brooklyn, around 6:15 p.m. Subsequently, Pass was arrested and charged with menacing and reckless endangerment.
