Rachael Leigh Cook is an actress, producer, and voice artist. She is also a model.
She has had numerous stints in films such as, ‘Josie and the Pussycats,’ ‘She’s All That,’ and the famous television series ‘Into the West.’
Rachel started her job in the movie industry at ten years old. At first, she posed on several adverts like Milk-Bone dog biscuits.’ She even did a commercial for Target.
She also came on and did an advert for the anti-drug campaign on TV that aimed to create awareness of the bad effects of heroin on children and adults.
Her first movie was released in 1995, ‘The Baby-Sitters Club.’ In 1999, she had a role in the movie ‘She’s All That’ where she acted with Freddie Prinze Jr. Rachel has also had roles in other films ‘Into the West’ and won an award.
She was also a part of the adventure film Tom and Huck, and later, In 1996, she acted in a short movie, 26 Summer Street. In 1997, she also had a role as the main character in the film Country Justice, in which she was a victim of rape and was impregnated by her assailant.
Rachel also acted in the film The Bumblebee Flies Anyway, where her co-star was Elijah Wood. In 2001’s Josie and the Pussycats, She had the lead act, but the film was a total failure at the box office.
The same year, she had a job as a cover girl for the USA edition of FHM and in the New Found Glory’s single in 2000, “Dressed to Kill.”
In 2000, she also had a role as a cover girl for FHM. On top of all this, Rachel was listed in the ‘Sexiest Women in the World’ magazine, and in 2003, she played the role of Cheri in the movie 11:14 and was also the main character in the film Into the West in 2005, in which Steven Spielberg was the producer.

Rachel was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on October 4, 1979. She was born to JoAnn (mother) and Thomas H. Cook (father). Her mother was a cook, an instructor, and a tailor. While her father, Thomas, was involved in stand-up comedy and was a social worker.
She had her nursing education at Clara Barton Open School, then later at Laurel Springs School, and finally graduated from Minneapolis South High School.
At 5′ 2″ tall, she is 44 years of age and has Italian ancestry. She first got noticed a year back, when she was just a child of seven years old, in a public service advert/
That was the beginning for her as she started to work as a child cover model at just ten years old.
Her coverage included several adverts and commercials like Target. She was also the cover face of Milk-Bone dog biscuit boxes.

Apart from her career in modeling, acting, and voice-overs, Rachel is deeply involved in charity, social service, and philanthropy.
In 2012, she started a scholarship scheme that awarded children and students with finances to back up and pay for their classes. This is mainly for children between the ages of 14 & 19 years.
Also, in 2017, Rachael revived the advert she did when she was a kid back to the main screen, “This Is Your Brain on Drugs.” She did this for the PSA when the DPA (Drug Policy Alliance) was criticizing and creating awareness with its theme slogan, ‘War on Drugs.’

It also stated the effects this has caused on the community and the destruction of lives, poverty, and racism.

Rachel Leigh got married to her short-term boyfriend and lover, Daniel Gillies, an actor. The couple got married on August 8, 2004. The pair started dating in 2007, and they have two beautiful kids, Charlotte and Ted ‘Theodore.’
