Dymin’s mom introduced Dymin and Lance in January 2017. Missy set up a meeting for them after she met Lance at Walt’s Pizza. At that time, Dymin was 34 years old and initially hesitant about the setup, but her mom encouraged her to give it a chance.

Their first meeting was for dinner at the Wheel House in St. Louis, just before a Red Hot Chili Peppers concert. Although Dymin was an hour late and things didn’t start smoothly, they found each other appealing as the night went on. Interestingly, the night ended without even a hug goodbye. Despite Dymin’s doubts because Lance was leaving for spring training in two days, they continued to connect through phone calls and texts, leading to more dates. At some point, Lance’s baseball career temporarily separated the couple for four months.
However, their relationship grew stronger over time. Dymin began posting pictures of Lance on her Instagram more frequently, and they were seen together alongside other Cardinals couples at Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre St. Louis in August 2017.
Eventually, Dymin moved in with Lance, and a year later, on August 25, 2018, she happily announced that she was pregnant with their first child, Lively Michael Lynn.
A month later, in September 2018, Dymin and Lance announced their engagement, and Dymin’s mother couldn’t be any happier as she had played a significant role in bringing them together. She was thrilled that it had led to marriage.

Celebrating their first anniversary, Dymin shared picture with a caption that reads.
Holy S#!t?!~* One year of marriage.. and what a year it has been. We went from our regular (hectic) lives to being cooped up with each other 24/7 for four straight months to then being totally apart for three months, THEN having a BABY when you returned, THEN moving to a different state two weeks after that and THEN shortly after being traded to a brand new team. AND WE STILL LIKE EACH OTHER!!! Here, here! 🍻 We’ve learned a lot about each other this year (like Lance’s serial killer trait is putting the Mac-n-cheese noodles in the water without boiling it first), and I’m even more confident now than I was a year ago that I’ve chosen the absolute best life partner. So, to the best husband I’ve ever had, HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! 🖤I love you. & if we didn’t have so many damn kids, I’d say let’s have another.
Dymin Lynn Children
After Lance married Dymin, she lovingly adopted Mia Jane Lynn, who is Lance’s child from his previous marriage to Lauren (Grill) Lynn. Mia became a cherished part of Lance and Dymin’s family, and they welcomed her as their first child and daughter.

Dymin’s husband, Michael Lance Lynn, born on May 12, 1987, is an accomplished American professional baseball pitcher currently playing for the Los Angeles Dodgers in Major League Baseball (MLB). He has also represented the St. Louis Cardinals, Minnesota Twins, New York Yankees, Texas Rangers, and Chicago White Sox.
During his college days, Lynn excelled in baseball as a pitcher for the Ole Miss Rebels, where he set impressive records for the school with the most pitching strikeouts in a single season (146) and throughout his college career (332). He caught the attention of the Cardinals, who selected him in the first round of the 2008 MLB Draft from the University of Mississippi.
In 2009, Lynn showcased his talent and was recognized as the Cardinals’ organizational Pitcher of the Year. He displayed his skills across three levels, achieving a remarkable 2.85 earned run average and 124 strikeouts in 148+2⁄3 innings pitched. He debuted in Major League Baseball on June 2, 2011, and became part of the Cardinals’ World Series championship-winning team that same year. In addition, he was honored as a National League All-Star in 2012.
Over the years, Lynn continued to impress, recording several milestones, such as pitching his first MLB career complete game and shutout on May 27, 2014. He also reached the milestone of 500 career MLB strikeouts just three weeks later and secured his 50th career win on April 15, 2015. During his time with the Cardinals, he held the franchise record for career strikeouts per 9 innings pitched, boasting an impressive 8.7.
In 2016, Lynn faced a setback when he underwent Tommy John surgery, causing him to miss the entire season. However, he bounced back strong, and on June 18, 2023, he made an extraordinary performance for the Chicago White Sox, pitching 16 strikeouts against the Seattle Mariners in 7.1 innings, tying the franchise record for most strikeouts by a White Sox pitcher in a single game.
Later, on July 28, 2023, it was announced that the Los Angeles Dodgers made a strategic move to reinforce their rotation and bullpen by acquiring both Lance Lynn and Joe Kelly from the Chicago White Sox. This addition brought an experienced arm to their roster, familiarizing fans with Lynn’s presence once again in the Dodger blue. As part of the team’s recent acquisitions, Lynn and Kelly join other notable players and have a significant role in the Dodgers’ pursuit of success in the league.
In November 2010, Dymin’s husband, Michael Lance Lynn, married Lauren (Grill) Lynn, who was a former softball player at the University of Mississippi. During their marriage, they were blessed with one daughter.
However, as life unfolded, their journey together took a different turn, and they eventually went through a divorce. After this chapter of his life ended, Michael found love again and later married Dymin. Together, they joyfully welcomed three more children in addition to Mia from his previous marriage.
