Since 2018, David has been in a relationship with famous Game of Thrones actress Natalie Dormer. The two met in a set of the movie Venus in Fur and have been inseparable ever since.
She gave birth to their daughter in 2021, during the Covid 19 lockdown. The lovebirds are now in a civil partnership since February 2023, which took place in Bath, Somerset.
David is an advocate for preserving wildlife, climate, and aquatic life. He partnered with Manta Story and Volkswagen UK to promote the conservation of nature and other life forms.
