Rivers United are poised for a tough CAF Confederation Cup draw, DAILY POST reports.
The official draw for CAF’s second-tier club competition will be conducted on Friday in Johannesburg, South Africa.
The draw ceremony will start at 2pm Nigeria time.
It will be followed by the CAF Champions League draw.
Rivers United could be paired with North African giants Club Africain of Tunisia, RS Berkane of Morocco, Egypt’s Zamalek and USM of Algeria.
Stanley Eguma made it to the quarter-final stage of the competition last season where they were eliminated by Tanzania’s Young Africans.
The Port Harcourt side are bidding to become the first Nigerian club to win the competition.
