Blind is the latest weekly tvN drama, blending action, mystery and thriller elements together with a pretty stacked cast. If you’ve been following this one, you may be wondering if this has been renewed or cancelled. Well, wonder no more! Here’s what we know about a renewal:

What is Blind Season 1 about?

Blind tells the story of three people; Ryu Sung Joon an enthusiastic detective, Ryu Sung-Hoon a judge and Jo Eun-Ki a social worker. These three find themselves involved in a prolific serial murder case. TaecYeon is part of the cast too, while Ha Seok-Jin and Jung Eun-Ji also round out an impressive casting.

Has Blind been renewed for season 2?

At the time of writing, tvN have not renewed Blind for season 2. Given the ratings over the weeks, it’ll be interesting to see if they actually do renew this for a follow-up.

The ratings began with a 3.3% share nationwide but since then, the show has been pretty steady at around 2.4% averagely. Now, the show isn’t actually widely available either, which is certainly a contributing factor.

Given that most Korean dramas only run for a single season, and the ratings aren’t through the roof, we predict Blind will not be renewed.

What we know about season 2 so far:

Most Korean dramas are reserved to one season, as detailed above, and with the rare exception of ongoing Netflix shows (Love ft. Marriage and Divorce, Hospital Playlist etc.) then it seems unlikely that this one will be renewed.

However, there is always the possibility that the actors return for a follow-up for a sequel or a spin-off featuring the same characters. But regardless, we don’t see this one as being renewed.
