A former member of the Boko Haram terrorist group, who had reportedly undergone a process of rehabilitation and reintegration, was recently apprehended while en route to Sambisa Forest with the intention of supplying various resources to the Boko Haram terror organization.
This incident unfolded in the Borno State community of Bama. The ex-terrorist, identified as Zagazola Makama, was caught alongside two accomplices in Barraram Village, also referred to as Daula Merket.

These individuals, who had supposedly repented and renounced their involvement with the terrorist group, had actually been aiding and abetting Boko Haram by providing essential support such as food items, fuel, motorcycle tubes, tyres, and other logistical necessities. This unsettling trend of “repentant” individuals collaborating with the terrorists against Nigerian Armed Forces has become a recurring issue in Bama, thereby posing challenges to security efforts in the region.
