Andrea Pirlo’s possible next club revealed

Former Juventus manager, Andrea Pirlo, is set to become the manager of Portuguese giants, Benfica.

Calciomercato, Benfica are considering appointing Pirlo as their next manager ahead of next season.

Benfica has been tipped to sack Jorge Jesus, who is being strongly linked with a return to Flamengo.

However, Pirlo is Benfica’s first choice to replace Jesus, at the Estádio da Luz.

Pirlo has been out of a job since he was sacked by Juventus in May this year at the end of the 2020-21 campaign.

He took charge of Juventus last year, replacing Maurizio Sarri, who is now the manager of Lazio.

The ex-midfield maestro was replaced by Massimiliano Allegri at Juventus.
