Hello Products is an African personal and home care company based in Lagos State, Nigeria and a member of Jagal Investments. We develop, manufacture and distribute a range of high quality personal and home care products that support a healthier life and safer homes throughout Africa.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:



Job Title: Purchasing ManagerLocation: LagosEmployment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and develop relationships with suppliers, ensuring they meet quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness standards.
Negotiation: Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions, including pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contracts.
Vendor Selection: Continuously assess and select suppliers based on their capabilities, performance, and alignment with our company’s values and objectives.
Budget Management: Develop and manage procurement budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility and cost-effective procurement practices.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of procurement professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present comprehensive procurement reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.
Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels to strike the right balance between maintaining optimal stock and minimizing carrying costs.
Cost Control: Develop and implement cost-saving strategies and initiatives while ensuring product quality and maintaining strong supplier partnerships.
Supply Chain Optimization: Continuously evaluate and enhance supply chain processes to drive operational efficiency and cost savings.
Contract Management: Manage supplier contracts, monitor compliance, and resolve contractual issues as they arise.
Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate supply chain risks, including geopolitical, economic, and logistical factors.


Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices, supply chain management, and contract law.
3-7 years experience as a procurement manager
Proven negotiation skills and a track record of delivering significant cost savings.
Proficiency in procurement software and tools.


N500,000 – N700,000 monthly (negotiable).
