We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Lead Planning Engineer

Location: Ikeja, LagosEmployment Type: Full-time

Job Description The duties of the Lead Planner shall include but not limited to:

Planning and monitoring projects from beginning to end.
Reviewing the project scopes in detail and preparing project schedules of logical activity sequence
Intervening to stop unsafe acts and conditions in the workplace that could injure personnel or adversely impact on the environment.
Participating in daily, weekly, and monthly safety meetings.
Participating in U-See U-Act reporting, hazard identification, mitigation, or elimination.
Ensuring all activities to be carried out are catered to in the schedule.
Ensuring that the estimated duration for each activity is realistic with adequate manning.
Preparing job cards that break down activities and indicates the duration of tasks.
Monitoring daily activities by receiving daily updates from junior planning engineers and junior project engineers from engineering to installation scopes
Keeping a close eye on projects critical path and issuing timely prompts to the Project Manager on delayed activities
Preparing weekly and monthly project reports inputs for management and clients
Mentor and train junior and trainee Planning Engineers.
Taking responsibility for personal safety and the safety of others.
Any other tasks as may be assigned by the Line Manager.

Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree qualification with 2 – 8 years work experience.
