The theatrical run is now set to stretch from February 15 to February 23, with the movie being available in over 1500 theaters nationwide. Interested fans can now grab their tickets on the Fathom Events website.

“We have been overwhelmed with the enthusiastic response from the public. From top media companies ranging from Rolling Stone magazine to USA Today to TMZ to individual comments on Reddit and YouTube — the world is craving Blood and Honey, and we’re thrilled to be teaming up with Fathom to deliver Winnie the Pooh as never seen before,” said executive producer Stuart Alson.

The slasher film is written and directed by Rhys Frake-Waterfield and is led by Craig David Dowsett as Pooh Bear, Chris Cordell as Piglet, and Nikolai Leo as Christopher Robin. Additional cast includes Natasha Tosini, Amber Doig-Thorne, Maria Taylor, Jase Rivers, Simon Ellis, May Kelly, Natasha Rose Mills, Richard D. Myers, and more.

Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey became notorious in 2022 for its outlandish usage of the iconic A.A. Milne and E.H. Shepard characters following their copyright expiration in 2021. The film centers around Christopher Robin going off to college, causing Winnie the Pooh and Piglet to become “feral and unhinged,” which leads to the characters going on a murderous rampage. Winnie the Pooh recently saw its copyright expire, with the rights to the characters no longer being held by Disney and entering the public domain.
