Former President, Goodluck Jonathan has backed the Nigeria Governors Forum as the true platform to interrogate issues that are good for the country.

He also bemoaned the antagonism between governors in the southern and northern region of the country in tackling the country’s challenges

“Governors themselves should continue to meet, I don’t really love a situation where the northern governors will meet then the southern governors will cry foul,” the former president said on Sunday in Benin, the Edo state capital after attending the thanksgiving service organised to mark the 50th birthday anniversary of Pastor Charles Osazuwa, General Overseer of Rock of Ages Christian Assembly International.
