Samsung Galaxy A23 5G is just like the Galaxy A23, but with a 5G radio. The features and build are the same except that this 5G model swaps out the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 4G chipset for a Qualcomm SM6375 Snapdragon 695 5G chipset. Samsung Galaxy A23 5G features a 6.6-inch PLS display, a 50MP quad rear camera, and a 5000 mAh battery.

Design, Display, and Camera

Samsung Galaxy A23 5G features the same look and feel as the 4G model. You get the same plastic build in the same four colors: Black, White, Blue, and Peach.

In the front, you get a brilliant 6.6-inch PLS LCD with a resolution of 1080 x 1408 pixels and 90Hz refresh rate. The entire front is covered in Corning Gorilla Glass 5 with a V-notch for the 8 megapixels front facing camera.

You have four cameras on the back. The main camera is a 50 megapixels wide-angle lens with an f/1.8 aperture, phase detection autofocus (PDAF), and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS).

The CPU is built on a dual-cluster architecture with a dual-core Kryo 660 Gold and a hexa-core Kryo 660 Silver clocked at 2.2GHz and 1.7GHz respectively. Graphics is handled by a Adreno 619 GPU.

This android phone offers two options for built-in storage and three memory options. The 64GB model offers 4GB or 6GB RAM while the 128GB model is available with 4GB, 6GB, or 8GB RAM.

Unlike Apple smartphones like the iPhone X and iPhone XR and even newer models like the iPhone 13 Pro Max, this Samsung phone offers a dedicated microSD slot with support for up to 1TB memory card.
