While working a 9 to 5 can be great for some people, because it’s safe and predictable, it can be torture for others, as for them, it’s tedious; they dream of going to exotic foreign places and cities. If you’re one of those people for whom the rat race of an office job is a nightmare, you feel like you aren’t living your best life, and you’re ready to change that, this article is for you.

Instead of traveling only during vacation, you can just have a job where you travel all the time! In this case, you will get to know our wonderful planet while making money.

According to some statistics, in 2018, a quarter of all employees did at least a part of their job responsibilities from home. Now, with the coronavirus pandemic, the number has skyrocketed. And this trend is not likely to disappear once everything goes back to normal. Many employers realized that their workers aren’t less productive at home; so far, not everyone will go back to the offices.

What does it mean? It means that you don’t have to work from home, you can work from anywhere you want! You, too, can become a part of this movement of becoming a digital nomad (as soon as it becomes completely safe to travel again, of course). But if a digital nomad’s life is not your jam for some reason, you can find a job that not just allows traveling but requires it!  Either way, check out our list of the best travel jobs, and choose the one for you!

1. Flight Attendant

Flying and traveling is the very essence of this job. You will probably start with the destinations inside your home country initially, but then you’ll be able to work on the longer flights going to more exciting destinations such all over the world. You’ll get to work on beautiful planes and visit various countries and at the same time you’ll enjoy a good income and benefits.

Qualifications of a flight attendant are different depending on the airline. Most of them need you to be tall enough to be able to reach the overhead bins as well as to stand up for long periods. Also, a customer service background is beneficial, as you’ll have to deal with people a lot.

What is more, knowing one or more foreign languages together with completing CPR training will make you a perfect candidate. Make sure to think about the fact that flight attendants’ working schedules can sometimes be pretty random. They can face emergencies, where not only their life depends on them, but the passengers’ lives as well. Some passengers can be problematic or just rude; finally, there’s jet lag. However, you will be rewarded for your work with free or discounted flights for you and your family members.

The jobs on such ships tend to be very different, so you are likely to find something perfect for yourself, whatever your preferences are. However, be aware that this isn’t going to be this perfect job, where you just have fun and hang out all day – that’s what passengers of cruise ships do. You’ll have to work long hours.
