Karan and Preeta’s story returns for a new season on zee world, and in this season, Preeta’s pregnancy news brings joy to the family but shockingly it turns out she is not pregnant and Can never be pregnant and they adopted a child “Pihu”, this season is also going to witness the entry of Karan’s college friend who claims their adopted child “Pihu” is none other than her child with Karan. In a turn of events, Preeta is thrown out of the mansion after the death of Pihu.

She later finds out she can conceive and Pihu was never Karan’s child. The series takes a leap introducing a stronger Preeta as she returns and exposes all her enemies, the season is also going to witness the downfall of Shirlyn and Prithvi as they finally get exposed. On Dadi’s birthday, Preeta arranges puja in the house and does all the preparations. The Luthra assemble for puja and Dadi’s birthday celebrations. While Dadi praises Preeta’s efforts, Sherlyn becomes jealous of her. Later, the family rejoices upon learning that Preeta is expecting twins.

Then Karan’s college friend Sonakshi arrives to invite the Luthra’a for her wedding in Lonavala. Preeta visits the hospital and finds out that she is not pregnant and is infertile. A heartbroken Preeta decides to hide the truth till Sonakshi’s wedding ends. Soon Sherlyn and Prithvi learn the truth about Preeta’s pregnancy, however, Sherlyn isn’t able to prove the truth to the family due to a lack of evidence.

Preeta confesses to Karan that she isn’t pregnant and can never conceive, which leaves Karan shocked and traumatized but he still supports and consoles Preeta. Sonakshi overhears their conversation and assures them she’ll not tell the truth to anyone and later takes them to a skilled gynecologist who assures Preeta that there are chances of her conceiving and asks Preeta to start with the treatment after Sonakshi’s wedding is over. As Sonakshi’s wedding rituals commence, Rajat (Sonakshi’s fiancé), breaks the wedding just a moment before filling her hairline. Rajat’s uncle shows proof of Sonakshi delivering a daughter a few years earlier.

Later Sonakshi confesses that Karan is the father of her child and reveals even more. Years earlier, while they were intoxicated after a party, Karan impregnated Sonakshi. While Karan forgot this, Sonakshi remembered. Sonakshi’s father exclaims that the baby died soon after birth. After the family reaches Mumbai, Karan, and Preeta resolve the situation and reconcile. After knowing the truth that Preeta isn’t pregnant, Kareena asks Preeta and Karan to adopt a child, to which they agree. They adopt a girl named Pihu. After some days, Sonakshi returns to the Luthra house and says she wants to meet her child who is in the Luthra house.

Everyone learns that Pihu is Karan and Sonakshi’s daughter. She was alive and was brought to an orphanage by Sonakshi’s father, who had been lying to Sonakshi. The Luthra family allow her in the house due to her medical illness. She meets her father in a hotel to make plans for marrying Karan. Later Sonakshi and Sherlyn collaborate to spoil Preeta’s life.

Later, Preeta arrives at Sherlyn’s room and finds Prithvi dancing with her. She warns them to stop their bad deeds and they both make fake promises. Later in the morning, Preeta finds out that they have not changed and makes a video of their affair. She threatens them to show the video to Rishabh.

Rishabh arrives home and is told by Preeta that Sherlyn and Prithvi are having an extramarital affair. He confronts them and asks them to reveal the truth and they both deny the allegations. Rishabh lashes out at Preeta for accusing Sherlyn. The next morning Rishabh finds Sherlyn’s earring in Prithvi’s blazer and confronts Sherlyn. Rishabh decides to end his relationship with Sherlyn and apologize to Preeta. Rishabh goes outside and gets drunk at a restaurant. He returns the next morning and the police suddenly arrive and arrest Rishabh for attempted murder. Preeta, Karan, Srishti, and Sameer team up to prove Rishabh innocent.

Sandeep, who charged allegations against Rishabh now collaborates with Prithvi to destroy Rishabh. Soon Preeta learns the truth and tries to convince Sandeep to utter the truth in court. Sandeep learns that Prithvi is just using him and won’t give money in terms of consideration and then he agrees to speak the truth in court. Prithvi tries to kill Sandeep but fails and is exposed to the entire Luthra family. Prithvi is arrested for cheating and attempted murder. Prithvi now hates Preeta and wants to take revenge on her shortly. Rishabh is proven innocent and is back home on Diwali. Sonakshi again plots against Preeta and Pihu is hurt due to Sonakshi’s planning but everyone, except Karan, blames Preeta for being irresponsible towards Pihu.

Sonakshi reveals to Sherlyn that she gave fake reports to Preeta and made her realize that she can’t conceive. She always knew that Preeta could conceive so she decided to stay in the Luthra house so that she could give Preeta the medicine which will unknowingly stop Preeta from conceiving. Rishabh ends his relationship with Sherlyn and leaves the house without his family knowing the truth. The next day, Sonakshi plans a trap for Preeta and the Luthra family. She kidnaps Pihu through her personal hired goons and instigates all the family members against Preeta that it was her mistake due to which Pihu got kidnapped as she didn’t pick up Pihu on time from her friend’s house. Preeta somehow manages to save Pihu and takes her to a hospital. From there she gets to know from a doctor that Pihu is an orphan child whose mother died while giving birth to her. Preeta is shocked to know that Sonakshi was lying all along and that Pihu is not Karan and Sonakshi’s daughter.

Sonakshi hires a goon who creates an accident, in which Pihu dies, and the entire Luthra family members blame Preeta for it and she is thrown out of the house. Later, Sonakshi is kicked out of the house by Karan for forcing him to marry her. Preeta leaves for Bangalore with her grandmother.

2 YEARS LATER

Preeta comes back home and starts working as a physiotherapist at a clinic and soon learns about what happened in the past two years in Mumbai. Prithvi, who was released from jail has captured the Luthras’ property and business, and Mahesh is suffering from mental illness. Now, Preeta is all set to oust Prithvi from the house and business and decides to play a negative character in front of the Luthra. Soon she starts resolving all the problems that Prithvi has been creating for the family, and she manages to bring Rishabh back, who was stuck in Dubai due to a case planned and plotted on him by Prithvi and Sherlyn.

After returning, Rishabh reveals the truth to everybody and kicks Prithvi and Sherlyn out of the house. Natasha and Sherlyn poison Karan’s mind and makes him believe that Preeta and Rishabh are having an affair. And in a certain turn of events, Natasha and Roxy push a drunk Karan off the dam and he is presumed to be dead. Preeta finds out that she is pregnant with Karan’s child.

5 YEARS LATER

Preeta gives birth to her and Karan’s baby, a daughter named Kavya. Also, a mysterious man named Arjun makes his entry into her life who is calming to be Karan Luthra: More summary to be added soon.
