Thomas Frank names number one team in Premier League after Brentford’s defeat

Brentford boss, Thomas Frank has described Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal side as the number one team in the Premier League.

He also feels the Gunners are genuine title contenders following Brentford’s 3-0 defeat on Sunday.

William Saliba, Gabriel Jesus and Fabio Vieira scored one each to secure all three points for Arsenal side at the Brentford Community Stadium.

Arsenal kept their place at the top of the table with the victory after the opening seven games of the season.

“We lost 3-0, to the number one [team] in the Premier League,” Frank told Sky

“I said before that they are a top side…They didn’t create that many chances but had quality moments.

“They are top of the table so you cannot argue with that, they have done brilliant. Looking at the quality, they must be title contenders.”
