Infinix Note 12 Pro 5G is the more premium variant of the Note 12 5G and more or less like the 5G variant of the Infinix Note 12 VIP and Note 12 Pro. It is more or less similar to the Note 12 VIP except that the 4G capable Mediatek Helio G96 has been replaced with a 5G enabled Mediatek Dimensity 810. It also has a bigger battery. Infinix Note 12 Pro 5G features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, a 108MP rear camera, and a 5000 mAh battery.

Design, Display, and Cameras

Infinix Note 12 Pro 5G features the same look and feel as the Note 12 5G. It is about the same size as its less premium sibling and weighs a little bit more.

The Infinix phone features the same all plastic design and is available in the same color options of black or white.

The 6.7-inch AMOLED display has a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and is protected in Corning Gorilla Glass 3. There is a U-cutout housing the 16 megapixels selfie camera. This is the same selfie camera in the standard 5G edition with dual-LED flash and support for 2K 1440p video recording.

On the back, the Infinix Note 12 Pro 5G has an impressive 108 megapixels wide angle lens supported by two 2 megapixel lenses, one a macro lens and the other a depth lens.

A Quad-LED flash is provided for the rear camera. You also get phase detection autofocus (PDAF), HDR, Panorama, and support for 2K 1440p video recording at 30 fps.

Hardware and Software

Infinix Note 12 Pro 5G is powered by the same MediaTek MT6833P Dimensity 810 (6 nm) chipset as the vanilla 5G model, dropping the 4G LTE capable MediaTek Helio G96 (12nm) found in the two 4G variants like the Infinix Note 12 G96 and the Note 12 VIP.

This is the same chipset found in 5G phones like the Xiaomi Poco M4 Pro 5G, the Realme 8S 5G, and the Tecno Camon 19 Pro 5G with a dual-core Cortex-A76 clocked at 2.4GHz and a hexa-core Cortex-A55 also clocked at 2.0GHz.

This android phone offers an 8GB RAM with 128GB built-in storage with a dedicated slot provided for storage expansion. It supports up to 5GB of virtual RAM via Extended RAM for an overall 13GB memory and smoother experience.
