Nokia C21 is a 2022 iteration of the Nokia C Series of cheap android phones and a direct successor to the Nokia C20. Compared to its predecessor, the C21 offers a better camera. Nokia C21 offer the same processor, but with a more generous memory and storage options.

Display and Design

Available in Dark Blue and Warm Gray, the Nokia C21 comes in a plastic back with aluminum frames and front glass cover, making it look more premium and clean for its price.

It has a circular bump on the back housing the rear camera and LED flash. Below the bump, you will find the fingerprint sensor.

In the front, the android phone sports a 6.52-inch IPS display with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. A dewdrop notch is provided for the selfie camera.

Cameras

For taking photos and videos, the Nokia C21 has an 8 megapixel rear camera with an LED flash. This is an upgrade compared to the C20 that offers a 5MP rear camera. The rear camera offers HDR.

The front camera is still the same 5 megapixels for selfies and sports an LED flash as well. This design of having an LED flash for both the front and rear camera is similar to what is available in the Nokia C2 2nd Edition. Just like in the predecessor, both cameras can handle 720p HD video recording.

Hardware and Software

Nokia C21 runs on Android 11 (Go Edition) on a Unisoc SC9863A (28nm) octa-core processor. This is the same processor we saw in the Nokia C20 as well as the Nokia C30, Infinix Smart 6 Plus, and the Galaxy A03 Core.

The is a 32GB model with 2GB or 3GB RAM and a 64GB model with 3GB RAM. If you want to expand your storage capacity, a dedicated microSD slot is provided. You get a 3000 mAh battery.

Connectivity

The android phone features dual SIM support with 4G LTE network support for fast downloads. You also get 3.5mm audio jack, microUSB port, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi.

Nokia C21 Price and Availability

Nokia C21 sells for around 80 EUR at leading online stores. The Nokia C21 costs around 54,000 Naira in Nigeria, around 773 GHC in Ghana, and 11,500 KES in Kenya.

The Nokia phone was announced on February 2022 and was available for purchase starting in May 2022.
