Manchester United manager, Ralf Rangnick has identified two Red Devils’ problems following their Premier League 1-1 draw with Newcastle United on Monday night.

Man United was not at their best as they drew with Newcastle at St. James’ Park.

Edinson Cavani came off the bench to equalize in the second half after Allan Saint-Maximin had put Newcastle ahead.

But Rangnick believes there were two problems with his team during the encounter in terms of ‘the unforced errors and the technical errors’.

“There were two problems, the unforced errors and the technical errors, which were the wrong decisions in possession, this caused transitional moments from Newcastle, they are good in this area, the other one [problem] was we didn’t play as aggressive without the ball in counter-pressing, that is a question of physicality.

“In both areas, we were not at the level we should have been,” Rangnick was quoted by Manchester Evening News as saying after the game.

Rangnick will now hope Man United return to winning ways when they host Burnley on Thursday in their next Premier League fixture.

Man United currently sits in 7th position on the Premier League table with 28 points from 17 games.
