Yoga has it for Lionel Messi’s gorgeous wife

Lionel Messi has been left in awe of his wife Antonela Roccuzzo after she stunned social media with yoga snaps.

Antonela, 34, donned a full black workout set, posing for the camera in one image and then showing off one of her moves in another. Sharing them with her 20million Instagram followers, she wrote: “We keep practicing.”

The upload had PSG star Messi starstruck as he posted three love heart emojis in the comments section. The rest of her fans were equally impressed, with Angel Di Maria’s wife Jorgelina Cardoso simply replying: “Beautiful.”

Fellow model and wife of Messi’s former Barcelona team-mate Sergi Roberto, Coral Simanovich, posted: “Ohhhhh yesssss girl!!!!!!”

Luis Suarez’s other half, Sofia Balbi, commented: “You are on fire my friend.” And another follower wrote: “From another world.”

Antonela has been by Messi’s side for the majority of his legendary football career. They grew up near each other in their native Argentina and have known each other since they were five.

The pair became close in their childhood but grew apart when Messi joined the famous La Masia academy. A tragic accident brought them back together, though.

Antonela’s best friend died in a car crash prompting Messi to fly home “as soon as he heard”, according to Hola!. It was then that their love was rekindled and she returned with him to Spain.

They haven’t looked back since then and have gone on to have three sons – Thiago, 9, Mateo, 6, and Ciro, 4 – and tied the knot in 2017. Recently the whole family were enjoying a summer break in the Balearic Islands.
