A presidential aspirant under the platform of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Dr. Favour Ayodele, has called on Nigerians to look for a credible alternative platform and personality to save the country from the mal-administration of both the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) since 1999.

Making his declaration with the theme: “Who I am,” with #No More Recycled Politicians, Ayodele said: “2023 is crucial for the Nigerian electorate to look for a better change.”

He also used the platform to unveil his campaign organisation, Favour Ayodele Presidential Campaign Organisation (FAPCO).

Ayodele, a pastor, described himself as the “messenger of good news to Nigerians for the  presidency in 2023, under the ADC.”

He urged the youths to take their destiny into their hands by supporting him.

He said his mission for a new Nigeria was to instil fundamental values and humanistic patriotism, create an enabling environment with relatable indigenous people-oriented policies, good leadership and economic paradigm shift and install the dignity of Nigeria and Nigerians.

He said the country has failed to build institutions and promised to revive institutions, improve productivity, and invest in education, primary health care, transportation, tourism, security, and housing, among others.

Ayodele, who deplored the prevailing level of insecurity in the country, assured Nigerians of the security of life and property under his watch.

He promised a $5t economic paradigm shift “beyond crude-oil dependence by exploring renewable green energy innovations with high-tech 360° climate change, Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), economic transformation and new global policy, creating socio-economic global policy for transformational values, creation of food security through agricultural revolution against Nigeria’s allegorical appellation “Capital Poverty of the World” to “Emerging Global Economy,” he said.

He also decried incessant strikes by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) saying, “ASUU strike is an entrenched disease that must not stay any longer. Presidency will engage in intentional investment in our educational sector. This is one of my top priorities.

“We will be deliberate in taking the 20 million out-of-school children from the street and offer them free quality education.”

He said his administration would intentionally and consciously invest in EduPrenuer, EduTech, Research Project, Innovation, History, Indigenous languages, Ethics and Cultural Values.

“Our teachers will enjoy attractive enumeration, insurance policy, professional training and a conducive environment.  We will launch free quality education from Primary to Secondary School while our tertiary institutions go for study and work programs with relevant benefits.”

He said his administration would give Nigerians a brand new constitution debated, supported by all and offer an alternative government for the country as well as good leadership against “recycled selfish rulers.
