We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 

Job Title: Driver

Job Description

The position exists to transport missionaries, guests, packages, materials, merchandise, and other duties as assigned to destinations, by safely applying knowledge of driving regulations in accordance with instructions given.
The candidate shall also maintain vehicle logs, perform basic maintenance, and inspect vehicles regularly to ensure optimal performance and operation. May be required to occasionally work on weekends.

Responsibilities

Transports missionaries or delivers goods to destinations safely and using knowledge of driving regulations.
Inspects vehicles regularly to ensure optimal performance and operation.
May load and unload vehicles.
May provide emergency roadside repairs.
Verifies goods against shipping documents.
Maintains vehicle logs and performs basic maintenance. 

Qualifications

Minimum of Senior Secondary School / Diploma Certificate or equivalent
Basic reading, math, and communication skills
Ability to follow directions and/or maps.  
Demonstrated ability to care for and highly regard church vehicles and equipment
Two to five year’s driving experience with a good driving record and safety-minded.
Possess a valid Driver’s license with Basic knowledge of auto mechanics.
