Nigerian business mogul, Cubana Chief Priest, has vowed to sponsor the education of the young boy photographed at Peter Obi’s campaign rally.
Recall that the sensational picture of the boy, identified as Yusuf Alabi, standing in front of Peter Obi’s convoy in Lagos went viral recently.
The photo triggered the attention of popular socialite, Cubana Chief Priest, who took up his case and encouraged people to donate money to help him.
In a new development, Cubana, who met with Yusuf, revealed that he dropped out of school in JSS 2 and began doing menial jobs to survive.
He promised to sponsored his education to tertiary level, and vowed to change his life for the better.
Giving an update on the donations, Cubana stated that the funds raised is sufficient to transform Yusuf and his family’s lives.
He shared a photo with Yusuf on his Instagram page and wrote,
“Yusuf’s Life Will Never Be The Same Again, He Has Received So Much That Will Take His Family & Him Out Of The Trenches. Dude Dropped Out Of School In JSS 2 To Push Truck & Do Offloading Jobs So I’m Sending Him Back To School Where He Belongs Till The End Of His Tertiary Institution.
