Infinix Hot 12 Pro (a.k.a. Infinix X668C) is the Pro Edition of the Infinix Hot 12. It joins the vanilla model with the Infinix Hot 12 Play and Hot 12i in the 2022 lineup of the Infinix Hot Series. This affordable android phone features a bigger memory. Infinix Hot 12 Pro sports a 6.6-inch IPS display, a 50MP dual rear camera, and a 5000 mAh battery.

Design and Display

Infinix Hot 12 Pro comes in a plastic body available in Racing Black, Electric Blue, Lightsaber Green, and Halo White. The front is covered in glass with a V-notch provided for the selfie camera. This is a departure from the infinity-O notch and U-notch in the other Hot 12 phones.

Infinix Hot 12 Pro has a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display with a of 720 x 1612 pixels resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and 180Hz touch sampling rate. The camera offers a good viewing experience for watching movies and browsing the web.

The rear camera count has now been reduced from three in the vanilla model to two, however the camera is now more premium.

If there is anything that distinguishes the Infinix Hot 12 Pro as a Pro edition smartphone it is the camera. The 50 megapixels dual rear camera is great for photography. The rear camera consists of a wide angle lens and AI too. A dual-LED flash is provided for the rear camera.

Infinix Hot 12 Pro comes with a Unisoc Tiger T616 (12 nm) octa-core CPU. The chipset is built on a dual-cluster architecture with a dual-core Cortex-A75 clocked at 2.0GHz and a hexa-core Cortex-A55 clocked at 1.8GHz. This should deliver power for a decent gaming experience combined with the 90Hz refresh rate, you have a gaming phone if you are on a very tight budget.

The android phone features 128GB built-in storage with an 8GB RAM or 64GB built-in storage and 6GB RAM. You can add up to 3GB of virtual RAM. If you need more storage capacity, you get a dedicated microSD slot that supports up to 512GB memory card.

Infinix Hot 12 Pro price in India starts at around 10,999 INR. The Hot 12 Pro is expected to cost around 97,000 Naira in Nigeria, 13,500 KES and 850 GHC in Ghana.
