Israeli giants Hapoel Tel Aviv are monitoring a Nigerian attacker, and they could try to sign him this summer, Soccernet.ng reports.
Hapoel Tel Aviv are looking to strengthen their squad after winning the Israeli second tier to sealing promotion to the country’s top-flight.
They would need an injection of fresh talent to survive in the Israeli top-flight or even do the unprecedented and challenge for a place in the Championship playoffs.

The club are one of the most historic clubs in Israel, and they would be eager to return to their previous best after years in the doldrums.
According to Transfermarkt, the club have identified a Nigerian striker as a potential target. The club have been linked with a move for Paul Mukairu this summer.

The 25-year-old winger spent last season at Boluspor in the Turkish Lig. 1, on loan from Danish giants FC Copenhagen. There, Mukairu contributed seven goals in 37 league appearances. He also had a league-high 14 assists.
However, the deal might be a bit complicated. Mukairu has returned to Copenhagen following the end of his loan at Boluspor.

At Copenhagen, his contract expires in December, but they may think about extending his deal following his impressive performance in Turkey.
But if Mukairu refuses to extend his contract, Copenhagen will be forced to sell him this summer.
He is currently valued at €850k on Transfermarkt, but Copenhagen will likely demand a fee in the region of €1 million before they let him leave.
