Super Eagles and Bayer 04 Leverkusen winger, Nathan Temitayo Tella, has spoken very highly of his ex-teammate, Jeremie Frimpong, after the Dutch defender moved to Liverpool, Soccernet.ng reports.
The pair shared the pitch for two years, winning the DFB Pokal, Bundesliga, and the DFL Super Cup titles in their time at the Bay Arena.
Frimpong has now signed for Premier League Champions, Liverpool, activating his €35m release clause. He’s joined by his Bayer teammate, Florian Wirtz, at Anfield.
